Hello Nomads,

All the very best to each one of you and your families, I hope that 2012 will be a prosperous year.

Natal Nomads and Nomads S A as a whole, was placed under pressure last year as we experienced dwindling member and player numbers. Our premier monthly game is normally the one together with Gold Cup at the end of the year. It was disappointing to see that we only fielded 114 players at this event, with a lot less at prize giving. One of our main focuses for 2012 is membership. We need to increase member numbers in order to secure the long term future of Nomads. So bring along a friend, associate or fellow golfer and let them experience what Nomads is all about. Who knows, they may turn out to be future National Chairmen.

Once again thanks to Melville and Greg for a well organized prize giving at DCC.

The winner of the lotto draw after the game at DCC was none other than Hamstrung Keith Gillespie – number 33. He will get his R1200.00 once he has learnt to swim in knee deep water or we will give it to Catbox to give it to him.

Butch Armitage and Dave Strong will be on hand at Bluff to hand out the Bells Tickets.

There are a number of members that have not paid for their Bells Tickets, please can you sort out with Helen.
