I sincerely apologise for prize giving starting so late at Kloof but I got caught out by the semi finals in the main Gary Player going extra holes. I have now learnt that the players can hand their cards in and we can continue with the scoring. A bit late in the year to learn that one!
Due to the pressure to get the prize giving sheet completed in our hurry a gremlin crept into the system and we had to amend the winner, runner up in the B division and the runner up in the C Division. The winners names have been updated for Gold Cup.
Once again Helen and Jenny had registration totally under control and made our visiting Club Captains feel most welcome as it was our Fellowship day.
The winner of the lotto draw after the game at Kloof was none other than Keith Storey with his lucky number 13 which he insists on keeping every year. I will present him his hard earned R 1 200.00 at Durban Country Club.
